I've spent more than 20 years in financial services, and I can tell you honestly: most of the complexity you encounter is manufactured. The products aren't that complicated. The decisions aren't that mysterious. What people actually need is someone who will sit with them, listen properly, translate the technical into the human, and help them act with confidence. That's what I do.
My career spans front-line financial advice at permanent tsb, sixteen years at Irish Life in roles covering sales effectiveness, learning and development, and advice proposition design, and more recently, lecturing in financial services. That breadth - practical, strategic, and educational - gives me a perspective that's hard to find in a single adviser.
I'm a Certified Financial Planner with an MSc in Financial Services from UCD. I hold a Graduate Diploma from the IOB. I'm a DISC Practitioner, which means I've also invested in understanding how people think, communicate, and make decisions under pressure - because good financial planning is as much about behaviour as it is about numbers.
I'm based in Meath. I'm a father of five boys. I think about legacy, about the long game, about what financial security actually means for a family. That grounding shapes everything about the way I work with clients.
